The Sacred Heart Mukumu Girls High School proudly celebrated Sacred Heart Day 2026, on 24th July 2026, a day of faith, thanksgiving, unity, and community. Rooted in our Catholic tradition, the celebration brought together students, teachers, support staff, alumni, parents, religious leaders, and distinguished guests to give thanks for God's blessings upon our school.This year's celebration reminded us that our strength lies in our shared faith and commitment to excellence as one Mukumu family.

The celebrations began with a solemn Holy Mass presided over by FR. Carlos Tindi, who encouraged the school community to remain steadfast in faith, discipline, humility, and service. The Eucharistic celebration formed the spiritual foundation of the day's activities and renewed our commitment to the values of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

A New Beginning in Faith
One of the most moving moments of Sacred Heart Day 2026 was the celebration of the Sacrament of Baptism.
Several students and members of staff were joyfully baptized into the Catholic Church during the Holy Mass. Surrounded by the Mukumu family, they publicly embraced their faith and began a new chapter in their spiritual journey.
The celebration beautifully reflected our school's mission of nurturing not only academic excellence but also spiritual growth, moral integrity, and lives founded on Christian values.
